To My Husband...

We have been married for five years. It seems like a lifetime ago that we met and started dating. You jumped in head first and I was a little slower to leap. I had no idea at the time that I was beginning a chapter in my life that would lead me to where I am now. I remember getting on my knees at my bed every night to ask God to let me keep you. I am so thankful that he let me.

I can't believe the journey we have begun. You took me to see the ocean for the first time. You took me to my first baseball, football, and college basketball games. How could I forget all the haunted houses we went to with the Premier guys. You were always there encouraging me through all the grueling trips to USI. You were also there when I walked across the stage at Roberts Stadium to get my diploma. I am so glad we took our spur of the moment trip to Las Vegas. We won't ever forget our trip to Florida. As bad as it was, I'm glad we went. Neither of us will ever forget the day we found out we were having quintuplets.

As long as I live I will never take our kids for granted. We worked so hard to get them here. I couldn't have made it through all the shots and medicine and stress that we went through without you by my side. The only thing that got me through the day when the kids were first home was knowing you were coming home at the end of the day.

Now we have five great, funny, crazy, growing kids. You are working so hard to provide and be a dad. The kids love you so much and I love you too. We said on our honeymoon that we would make it back to Hawaii on our five year anniversary. We may never make it back there, but we will always have our memories and the great fun that lay ahead with our new family. Our lives definitely haven't turned out the way we planned; but God has blessed us more than we ever could have dreamed.
