First Cereal Feeding!
Last night I decided to give the kids some cereal before bed. Landon usually wakes all the kids up at about 2:00am. They slept till about 4:00am last night. They went to sleep and didn't move. Jenna didn't get to eat the cereal yet. She is so little I wanted to see how the others handled it. They really liked it. Ethan scarfed it. He still needs to learn how to open his mouth. He ate some before his bottle, then he ate his entire bottle and then had some more cereal. He was completly content for bedtime. Landon liked the cereal the most. He knew how to open his mouth from the very beginning. He was smiling and having a good time. Sydney made faces like she didn't like it, but she always does that. She ate it really good. Peyton was dead asleep when we started him. He was really hungry when he woke up. He fussed between bites and was content when he got the cereal. They are doing so good. Landon is really doing better. He is starting to be more content when he is awake. Things are starting to be better.

Daddy and little Rob!
Rob took a nap with Ethan the other day. Everyone says he looks just like his daddy. Well, a majority of our help is gone on vacation this week. All of Rob's family is gone. They are in Disney World. No one will be back until next Monday or Tuesday. Yesterday we got them all in the two strollers and went for a walk. It was beautiful out and they loved it. Rob and I also attempted to cook a nice dinner and eat without anyone here to watch the kids. Needless to say, that went less than smooth. They all cried through our meal. We were trying to rock seats with our feet while we scarfed our supper. We made it through the night without any major problems. This morning we gave baths and they all did good for them until we took them out. We had some very angry kids for a while. When they get a little bigger hopefully they will be more easily occupied. We have another doctors visit coming up. No shots this time. The dedication is also coming up. It is nice to get out of the house once in a while. Even if it is just to go to the doctor. I think the kids are starting to see each other. Before they wouldn't look at each other even if you put them in front of one another. Now they look at each other. I can't wait for them to react when they start to recognize one another.

I don't know how in the world I forgot to put the new picture of all the kids up. I took this picture at least two weeks ago. From left to right it is Sydney, Landon, Ethan, Jenna, and Peyton. Peyton looks about 6 months older than the others because he is sitting up better than the others. He is the most nosey kid we have. Sydney is the most laid back. We hardly ever hear a peep out of her. Except for recently, she has decided that she doesn't like to eat. She has been a bear during feedings. Landon is our fussy kid. He is either sleeping or crying. Hopefully he will get past this soon. Ethan is our big boy. He is about 2lbs bigger than everyone else. He never misses a meal and is a very happy baby except when it is getting close to feeding time. He is the most advanced in everything he does. He laughs and talks and really is starting to play. Jenna is our little bitty girl. She would rather starve forever than eat one bottle. We are really working hard with her feedings. I think she may be getting the hang of things. We have a long way to go though. They are all such a blessing and we are having fun for the most part. They sleep from about 9:00pm to anywhere from 2:00am to 5:00am. Everyone has been a huge help. I get to sleep through the night sometimes. I don't know how I would make it through the day sometimes without a full night sleep once in a while. Rob's cousins and aunts and uncle came down this past Saturday. They spent the day and we got to go grocery shopping. It was nice to see everyone. I'm glad a few of them finally saw the kids. They did a good job with the babies. Thanks to everyone who came and helped out.

Everything is going good. The kids are really getting into a groove. They are really good babies. For the most part. Lee came over one evening and he got to change Ethan's diaper. He did really good. Landon still needs a little more work. He is really fussy and acts like he doesn't feel good all the time. We had a PT come today and work with his neck. He likes to keep his head turned to the right all the time. She said that is really common and it won't be to difficult to fix. That explained why he is so unhappy all the time. I finally got a picture of Landon smiling. He usually is asleep or fussing. Once in a while he will sit and look around and be happy. That is the only thing any of the kids have going on. Wow! We are so blessed. Our kids are perfect. God has taken such good care of them. They are going to be dedicated on August 5 at 10:30 at our church, Princeton New Life Church of the Nazarene. All workers are invited and all family too. We will have a big dinner at the Salvation Army church after the service. Come and celebrate our little miracles with us!

Happy 4th of July
Everything is going good. Rob is gone with Jenna to get her hearing eval. Brett had a big 4th of July bash yesterday. My mom and dad took the kids for the day too. It was weird being here at the house without any kids. We had a really good time with everyone. It really cooled down in the evening for the fireworks. When we got the kids home they were exhausted. They didn't even wake up when we took them out of their car seats and put them in bed. It was a nice break.

Ethan was furious one morning. He had wriggled down in his boppie and somehow gotten his blanket wrapped around his forehead. His feet were hanging out of the crib too!!
This was Jenna one night before she ate at about 2:30 am.
Peyton loves being in the jumparoo!
Ethan really enjoyed his bumbo seat this morning.
Getting the hang of things!
Sorry it has been such a long time since I have updated. The last time I wrote we had just gotten the final two home. Unfortunately, they were only home for about five days and had to go back to the NICU. They weren't eating well at all. They were in for two weeks. It was forever!! They got to come home two weeks ago on the 4th. Everyone is doing great! They are growing so much. We got the Bumbo seats out this morning. Ethan loved it! Their heads get tired, but it will really develop those muscles. They are all getting to where they smile at you. Ethan and Sydney do all the time. They talk to us and play in the jumparoo! Last Thursday all five had to go to the doctor for their 4 mo. shots. It took us 3 hours in the doctors office. We went to Dr. Turnquest's office after that so she could see the kids. We had a good outing. It was getting home and the next 48 hours that was torture. We had five kids with fevers and VERY grouchy. The poor things, they felt awful. By Sunday Rob and I were about to drop. They are all doing great now. We have fully recovered and are doing great! We will be planning the dedication of the kids at church. It will probably be at the beginning of August. I can't wait. I plan on updating more often now.
