First Trip to the ZOO!!!

We made our first trek to the zoo. It never ends up being like what I envision in my head. We left at 8:30am for the annual MOMS picnic. We loaded the six seat stroller and also thought we would take my little brother and sister along. Once we got there we found that the stroller wouldn't fit through the entrance. We had to go in through a side gate which took us behind where the animals were. This is the hill we had to climb to get into the zoo. It was a small one compared to the huge hills we had to tackle later in the day. To make a long not very fun story short, we left at about 11:00 to get home in time for lunch and naps. The kids took everything in stride and did very well. We won't be going back until they care about seeing the animals. We have a funny story we won't ever forget though. That is what we are shooting for. Just because everything is magnified 5x we still want our kids to experience neat things. This is one of the first of many memories we will have.
