A Day In The Life Of...
Our lives are changing everyday. We had a little time where they were discovering new things and doing a lot of changing. Now they have hit a span where they can do more and more everyday. We have kind of gotten past the eating everything in sight phase. Now the days are filled with hugs and kisses, laughter, and lots of playing. With that comes drama, drama, and more drama. They are playing so much more now. Jenna is walking and really trying to hold her own. Her personality is really showing now.Our daily routine is very strict and the kids live and breathe by that schedule (me too). We get up around 7:15am. Sippy cups are dispersed and diapers are changed. In the mean time Jenna is given a bottle and tucked away behind the recliner or couch so her siblings can't find her. They remember what the bottle is for and take it any time they can. While they are beginning their morning play time, I am making breakfast in the kitchen. At 8:00am we eat breakfast. This usually consists of pancakes, waffles, or oatmeal. After that we play until 9:00am. At that time we go down for the morning nap. Landon sleeps in his bed, Ethan sleeps in Syd's bed, Jenna, Peyton, and Syd all go to the basement for their nap. They sleep for an hour and then we get up and find something new to occupy our time. It is getting too hot to go out in the day, so we are struggling right now with getting out if the house. At 11:00am we get juice and at 11:30am Jenna gets another bottle. 11:45am diapers get changed, and I make lunch. 12:30pm the kids go down for their afternoon nap. 3:00pm The kids may or may not be awake. We get milk cups, and diapers changed again. 4:00pm daddy comes home and plays with the kids. 5:30pm I make dinner and we eat by 6:00pm. Usually we go outside and play or go for a stroller ride until 7:00pm (unless we have to give baths). 7:00pm we get milk cups and Jenna gets another bottle. 7:30pm diapers get changed again and it is finally bed time!!! That is our day in a nutshell. We try to change things up some, but for the most part the same thing happens every day.

You have five adorable babies. Just want to say thanks for the blog and letting us enjoy your pics. Our little guy will be 2 at the end of the month and he will get a late birthday present. My new grandson will be born the first of July. I as a grandma just thank God for our blessings. I get to do it all over again and experience the joy they give. For you it's 5 times the joy each day that God has entrusted us with his gifts of love. Enjoy your summer. Kay Pfeiffer
You sound like you have a very good routine down. I would say it is a must with 5 babies! They are absolutely adorable!
