What would you do if you had five 20 month kids and two of them left for the day to visit grandma and grandpa? That was the question we were left to answer on Saturday. So, what was the first thing we did? We went to McDonalds! We haven't ever taken the kids to a restaurant by ourselves. It was a lot of fun! They sat and ate their food great. When we were driving home Rob and I talked about how easy it is to have just three! Isn't that funny, I never thought I would say that three kids are easy! I'm not making light of having three kids for anyone who has three, but it is a drastic change from five. We went out to their house after nap time and everyone played outside. It was a really fun day! The best part is that they will take two more next week! We drew names out of a bowl and the last two left got to go. Landon and Jenna were the lucky winners.
They're 11!

Sounds like you guys had a great time. It's so nice to have special times with "some" of the troops ... worked both ways didn't it? The three that were with you got a treat and the two that went visiting got a special treat too!
I noticed that they made the switch to the Platex sippies ... yay! It's so funny because my kids can't do the straw ones. They try to tip them up. How funny .. and they'll be four this Friday.
I had three singletons and it was the same... removing just one kid from the equation would make for a much easier time... but of course, after awhile you miss that missing kid!
yes just a few weeks ago we took ours to cracker barrel for the first time with just us. it was so fun and the kids were GREAT! i was really surprised. i'm sure it won't be like that everytime but it was nice. glad you guys had fun! did you ever find your video camera?? I HOPE!

As you saw me at the mall the day we had lunch three is not easy but I am sure if I was without one I would have felt like you on this day. How easy is this? I know how scared I was when we started to venture out and you guys just need to tell yourself "the more we go the easier it will be." I am glad you got to have a great day.
ps please know that I can not spell so read thru the lines and forgive me!
