Crazy!!!

Isn't Syd cute. That is her through and through. She is wild, crazy, and ready to party all the time. When I look at these pictures I see myself at the end of the day. By the time bed time rolls around my hair could stand on end. They are great and I love spending everyday with them, but they are so exhausting.

There Are No Words...

I can't put into words what this stroller means to me. I received this today from a very dear friend. She has sextuplets and was ready to pass it on to another family. Rob is out of town for a few days, so needless to say, I put the thing together myself during nap time. This was the first time I have ever done anything with the kids by myself. The freedom is indescribable. This feeling can only be understood by other moms of multiples. The short walk we took this evening rejuvenated me more than any free time I have had. Just having the ability to do something and have control of the munchkins is great. I can't thank Kate and her family enough for this gift.

Group Photo

This Sunday is the baby Parade at church. I am so excited. I have a choo-choo wagon train for the kids to ride in. They are going to look so cute. I had to get a group picture so they can put it on the screen. Here are the best two that I got. Which one do you think I should use? Let me know.

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope everyone had a great Mother's Day. Besides the weather, it was a good day. Rob took me out on Saturday night. I want to take this time to brag on my kids. They do make my life crazy, stressful, high strung, and very busy; but they are the sweetest, funniest, cutest, kids in the world. They make me laugh every day. Even if I've had the worst day ever, I wake up in the morning and am happy that I get to do it all over again. It is the biggest blessing to be a mother. I can't imagine my life any other way.

This Week in a Nutshell...

It's finally Friday!!! Not that weekends really mean anything anymore. I will start at the beginning.

Monday: I ran to the post office leaving Daddy with the kids. Sydney was MIA at some point. Rob found her at the end of the hallway with an ink pen. I still have no idea where it came from. Needless to say, she got the lid off and was having a ball with it.

Tuesday: My friend from college came to visit me. She stayed until Wednesday afternoon. It was really nice to see a friend.

Wednesday: Peyton figured out how to get the stick out of the slot in the window. He then proceeded to beat poor Landon over the head with it about five times before I could get the camera down and take it away from him. (Perfect timing for the picture)

Thursday: Laundry day. I tend to put off laundry as you can see. It is impossible to fold anything with them around. I had to wait until they went to bed.

Friday: They decided to save the best for last. I was greeted with a lovely aroma in the boys room this morning. Peyton was naked from the waste down. His diaper was smashed in his bed with a poop hand print on his sheet. Pee was everywhere. He was having a great time. Needless to say, Peyton got a bath.

Needless to say, I am ready for a break this week.

Freedom!!!

We finally got our fence up. It is beautiful. Thanks to Aunt Mel and Uncle Shawn for giving us the fence. We played in it for the first time today. Unfortunately, the freedom wasn't as great as I was expecting it to be. I have built this moment up in my mind for so long that it was a let down.

We went from chasing them all over the place outside, to chasing them all over the yard trying to keep dirt clods out of their mouths. We weren't very successful. The boys liked the dirt. They would have eaten handfuls if we would have let them. Syd tried it once and decided she didn't like it.

Jenna ate some grass, but never tried the dirt. I hadn't thought about the kids trying to eat everything in sight. Before we had the fence they were distracted by the new surroundings.

In the fence they can't explore like they were before so they are trying to occupy their time by eating anything they can. Peyton was so proud of himself. He loves the camera. Landon wasn't as happy with the dirt as Ethan, but that didn't keep him from trying it countless times.
